Dr. Carmen Peden, a board eligible obstetrician gynecologist, joins the practice this year. She and her family have lived in Gainesville for 17 years. After attending the University of Florida for undergraduate studies, she chose UF again for medical school, and her research doctorate. For her specialty training, she remained loyal to the University of Florida and now makes Gainesville her permanent home.

Dr. Peden has been married for 9 years and is the mother of two precious girls. She and her husband are dedicated to the Gainesville community and their church and are loyal Gator fans.

She demonstrates equal devotion to her patients to meet their medical or surgical needs. As an obstetrician and gynecologist, she is able to provide a continuum of care from puberty to reproduction to menopause and beyond. Dr. Peden is committed to providing comprehensive and up to date care in a comfortable and compassionate manner.
